Our annual K9 handler training seminar takes place in Florida and includes classroom and field exercises each day.

After classroom instruction, field training utilizes storage units, warehouses, vehicles, boats, an airport, and a hotel.

2011 - 14th Annual Drug and Bomb Seminar Information:

Date: November 14 thru 17 2011
Hours: 10am to 6pm daily
Venue: Class begins at The Daytona Beach Police Department, 129 Valor Boulevard in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Instructors:

Bill Heiser – Owner and K9 trainer, Southern Coast K9, Inc
Ted Daus – Assistant state attorney with the Broward County State Attorney's Office
Andy Weiman – K9 trainer and handler with Broward County S.O.
Newton Villalona – Southern Coast K9 Director of Training
Frank Campbell – Retired K9 handler and trainer with Pinellas County S.O. and St. Petersburg P.D.
Jeff Wilbur – Seminole County S.O., prior K9 handler and trainer
Greg Taylor – Narcotics Investigator, K9 trainer and handler with Volusia County S.O.
Joey Roamer – Previous K9 trainer and handler with over 10 years experience with St. Johns County S.O.
Carmen Cantalia – Bomb Technician and explosives detection K9 handler with the Federal Bureau of Investigation

Equipment:

Attendees must provide a K9 and all K9 equipment required for the seminar.

Cost and Payment:

Seminar: $295.00 - Due upon registration. Payable to Southern Coast K9, Inc.
Seminar, NNDA membership and certification: $350 - Payable to Southern Coast K9, Inc.
Certification with the National Narcotic Detection Association.
Non law enforcement attendees can be certified by the American Detection Canine Association (ADCA).

Visa and Mastercard accepted. Please mail credit card information with registration form.

The Drug and Bomb Seminar is designed to enhance a K9 Handler's abilities.
